As the largest exhibition center in Korea, KINTEX (Korea International Exhibition Center) has 10 exhibition halls that span 108,556㎡ and 40 meeting rooms that cover 13,303㎡. Since its opening in April 2005, KINTEX has undergone two of three scheduled expansions. September of 2011 marked the completion of the second expansion, adding 53,975㎡ of exhibition space to the world-class meeting facilities, and reinforcing KINTEX's position at the forefront of globalization and economic development in Korea. Established in the year 2005, the KINTEX (Korea International Exhibition Center) is steadily emerging out to be one of Korea's top international venues for hosting all premium trade fairs, events, exhibitions and seminars. An upcoming venue, this new and modern facility has been co-invested by 3 government organizations; the KOTRA, Gyeonggi-do and Goyang-city. A multifaceted venue, KINTEX provides around 223,345 sq mt of total exhibition area and around 53,541 sq mt of highly flexible indoor space. With 5 exhibition halls, 23 meting rooms, KINTEX is being further expanded and developed with more modern features and facilities being added to it. The center aims towards securing its position as one of the best venues in the world by not only providing an outstanding infrastructure but also ensuring that all its events & exhibitions are a success.
